SPA Support

Contributions from SPA donors make a real difference to the seminarians and religious in mission dioceses around the world. Without your support these men and women would be unable to pursue their dream of serving the Church and their vocation would be lost.

There is no subscription to the SPA. Please contact the SPA office if you wish to become a member and be put on our mailing list (you can ask to be taken off the mailing list at any time). You will receive a summer newsletter and a copy of the latest Mission Tomorrow magazine with our yearly Christmas appeal (or the Lenten appeal if you are a member of the clergy or a religious community). We ask for your spiritual support for the continuing work of the SPA, and of course any financial support you may be able to offer.

The support of SPA members is vital if we are to answer the call to become missionaries and to support the needs of the Church, especially where it is new, young or poor.

Ways you can support the work of the SPA

Through prayer we become part of the universal Church. You might like to support the SPA either individually or as a group, with your family or your Parish. We would be happy to send you our prayer cards for Seminary Students and for Missionaries – just get in touch.

Through financial support we enable seminarians and religious to train for the priesthood and religious life, providing places at seminaries that would otherwise not be available.

You can donate by

- a one-off donation or regular payments by cheque/Postal Order/card/Standing Order, or online

- sponsoring a seminarian - currently £500 per year for the final four theology years of a student's training at a major seminary.

- offering to Gift Aid any donation you make

- leaving a gift in your Will to the SPA.
