ABUJA, Nigeria - Catholic media practitioners in English-speaking West Africa have asked bishops in the sub-region to give more attention to social communications.
Catholic Media Association of Anglophone West Africa (CAMAWA) representatives from Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria met in Abuja last week to discuss communication and evangelization.
The meeting recommended that Catholic communicators in the sub-region re-dedicate themselves to using social communication for evangelization.
They also proposed training of all those involved in social communications.
