What the Red Box Means
May 27th, 2008

We asked some APF members what the Red Box means to them, this is what they said:

"We have had a Red Box in our family for the last 60 years. It is a way of reminding ourselves that we are part of one big family and that we should share what we have with others. The gift of faith is the biggest gift we can share."
Maureen, Salford

"Whenever our children get any money for birthdays and Christmas they always put a bit of it into the Red Box it teaches them to share even with those they cannot see."
Teresa, London

"The Red Box in our house has often been raided… but we always put back more than we took out… it reminds us to pray for all those who don't know about Jesus and for the missionaries."
Michael, Cardiff

Ideally, the Red Box should be placed in a prominent position at the heart of the home

The APF enables its supporters to live out their own missionary vocation and to take an active part in the universal mission of the Church of Christ
